Featured Destinations of Long Island’s North Fork

Long Islands East End consists of both the North and South Forks. The Hamptons, starting with Greater Westhampton, heading east to Montauk, make up the South Fork. The North Fork begins in Riverhead, and flows east to Orient Point.

Riverhead:

Greenport Long Island:

Just a few miles east a scenic ride will transport you to Orient Point, the very end of the North Fork where you can catch the Cross Sound Ferry to Connecticut.

Shelter Island:

This Island is easily assessable from either Greenport Long Island on the North Fork, or the popular Sag Harbor shopping on the South Fork, via ferry service. Restaurants, scenic drives and beautiful beaches await you when you come to visit.
